Got a hankerin for blogging again. And now that I recently turned shhhh.....3.0., I feel I have a lot on my mind and much to write about. :-)
Today is Halloween but I'm not thinking about that as much as I'm thinking about Luther. Today is the day that Luther nailed his 95 theses to the Castle Church door. It served as a catalyst for the Protestant Reformation and more importantly, spoke the truth of Justification through Faith alone. And regardless of what you think of the theses, you have to admit...this man had balls.
He had a fire to speak something out. And instead of sitting on it, he did something about it.
What are we doing with our lives? Are we speaking out against injustice? Are we proclaiming TRUTH? Are we fighting for things we believe in? Or are we sitting on them, hoping someone else will rise to the challenge?
I'm challenged. I just turned another chapter in my life. And as I think about the kind of woman I want to be and the kind of life I want to lead, I am compelled to live a feisty sort of life with lots of good mischief involved. :)

“The law is divine and holy. Let the law have his glory, but yet no law, be it never so divine and holy, ought to teach me that I am justified, and shall live through it. I grant it may teach me that I ought to love God and my neighbour; also to live in chastity, soberness, patience, etc., but it ought not to show me, how I should be delivered from sin, the devil, death, and hell.
Here I must take counsel of the gospel. I must hearken to the gospel, which teacheth me, not what I ought to do, (for that is the proper office of the law,) but what Jesus Christ the Son of God hath done for me : to wit, that He suffered and died to deliver me from sin and death.
